"Disassembly"

I am currently working on a 25-track rock album to be titled "Disassembly". It will have a mix of energetic and alternative rock influenced by classic and modern music. It has been four years since I first started writing songs for it and at least a year since I started making production files. I expect to finish around May.

This will be a real step up from what I've done in the past. The album will feature spirited lead vocals and layered backing harmonies, a broad lyrical subject matter, and well-placed synthesizers alongside the usual loud guitars, percussive bass and powerful drumming.

As mentioned it will contain 25 songs. They will be separated into five chapters, five songs apiece. It could be considered five short albums in one.

When it's done it will be available on CD Baby for online purchase, and on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, Napster and almost all other major MP3 stores. I think it will be my best work so far, so I hope you'll grab a copy when it comes out!

A former bandmate of mine died in February 2012. He was a very talented musician and a great guy. Check out hillofants.com/thecanister to go back in time to 2005 and witness his astounding skill as a guitarist in The Canister.
